I was so tempted to blog but school works were killing me! It's weekend, and I figured I wanna write at least something.
Will my blog transform into a food blog?
I don't eat out often lately. I'm saving money for my end-of-year California trip..! haha
I haven't had this dish for a LONG time.
Corn beef always reminds me of Yee Wah, my old Inti College pal.
I decided to fix myself a quick meal before I went to my 2 p.m. class. I didn't want to cook noodles or rice, so I thought maybe a simple western brunch.
3 eggs, 6 shrimps, and 2 pieces of honey ham.
3 eggs stirred with water and chicken bouillon, and topped with parsley flakes. I sprinkled garlic and pepper mix seasoning onto the shrimps. And lastly, pan fried the 2 pieces of ham.
VOILA. I was really full.
What I had for my dinner 2 nights ago? I'm still thinking about Chin's eggplant..
It only took me 15 minutes to cook these 2 dishes. Fast and easy. It was almost 9p.m. and I was starving!
This was one yummy dish. All of the celery in the store looked 'old'.
So I left them in the pot for longer period of time so they softened up more.
Celery, large shrimp, garlic, oyster sauce and chicken bouillon.
Fried the garlic first, followed by the celery, leave it in the pot for more than 5 minutes, (sometimes I boil my vegetable first so they don't take such a long time to soften up), add in oyster sauce and chicken bouillon, lastly put in those shrimp. Reminder: Never overcook your shrimp! They lose flavor fast!
Tip: If you boil your broccoli before you cook them, add pinch of salt to the water! The broccoli will stay green and fresh for a long time.
YUM YUM I had a good dinner with Des. He washed all the dishes..
